My mom always told me, “Jenny you have two choices - enjoy dessert or have a perfect figure, but you can't have both."
You guessed it, I always chose dessert…I blamed myself for the way I looked.
It's weird, but I have some friends who are skinny without even trying.
They eat whatever they want and still stay thin!
Back when I was in college, I was actually in good shape, but that was because I worked out a lot to make up for all the things I ate.
Nowadays, I have a lot on my plate! I work full-time and take care of three kids and a dog.
Sadly, I don't have time to exercise as much as I want to.
To make matters worse, I wasn't feeling as close to my husband as I used to. So, I turned to comfort foods at night for some relief, but it only made things worse (Or so I thought…).
I was constantly tired, looking frumpy, and feeling angry. It was clear to me that I needed to make some changes in my life.
